The Betsie River is a designated Scenic and Wildlife Area in beatuiful Northern Michigan, which provides an adventurous outdoors setting, although you must keep alert for branches and logs. You may see a variety of wildlife: deer, bald eagle, blue herring, fish, turtles, ducks, porcupine, muskrat, beaver, geese, dragonflies, butterflies,and much more. The world renown trout stream provides spawing beds for Steelhead in the spring and Salmon swim upstream abundantly in the fall.
